Game on! Let's go Lady Bulldogs!!

They say it's just a game, and it is. BUT yet it is so much more than that. The game of VOLLEYBALL prepares student athletes for the game of LIFE. VOLLEYBALL is more than just a sport. It helps with the development of LIFE skills: teamwork, passion, drive, dedication, sacrifice, determination, focus, discipline, perseverance, mental toughness, confidence, leadership, endurance, resilience, and so much more.
So when our Lady Bulldogs take to the court today at noon to represent GES at the Class S SIJHSAA State Tournament, they will be demonstrating the importance of teamwork and how it takes everyone working together to achieve success. They will be showing their passion and drive for the game, as well as their dedication and sacrifice to their team. They will be exhibiting determination and mental toughness, as well as discipline and focus.
Our Lady Bulldogs will also be displaying their leadership skills, endurance, and resilience, never giving up and fighting until the very end. They have worked hard to develop the many skills it takes to be a volleyball player, and win or lose, they will make us all proud today.
So let's cheer on our Lady Bulldogs as they take to the court and remember that volleyball is more than just a game. It's a way of life, and the skills developed through playing it can help us all succeed in whatever we do.
Go Lady Bulldogs!

Through the Coining 4 Kids fundraiser that was sponsored by the Student Council, our school community raised almost $1500. Some of the money raised was used to make Summer Fun Packs for Coping 4 Life with the remainder being presented as a cash donation.
Student Council members are pictured presenting a $1000 check to Kris Fulkerson, Co-Founder of Coping 4 Life.
Teach your children the value of giving, and they will grow up to be compassionate adults who make a positive difference in the world.
