
On this twenty-eighth day of November, we spotlight Jamie Wilburn. Mrs. Wilburn joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2016. This is her sixth year at GES. Mrs. Wilburn came to Germantown with lots of experience working with children as she was a PreK teacher for 12 years prior to making the move. Mrs. Wilburn serves as our assistant cook and resident joke teller. She not only helps to prepare our fantastic school meals, she also brings smiles to our cafeteria with her Joke of the Day, holiday decorations, and positive attitude.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Wilburn is a mom, sports fan, on the go individual who loves to spend time with friends.

On this twenty-seventh day of November, we spotlight April Tolan. Mrs. Tolan joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2011. This is her eleventh year at GES. While Mrs. Tolan’s main responsibility is working as a paraprofessional helping our students to experience success in school, she also assists with recess supervision and monitors the bus hallway at dismissal. During the summer months, Mrs. Tolan stays busy helping to prepare the building and grounds for the start of a new school year. Mrs. Tolan has been presented with many challenges during her time at GES, and she has taken each one on with her big heart and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Tolan is a dance mom, baker, lover of crime dramas, FRIENDS fan, Target shopper, crafty, family person, and football and soccer mom.

On this twenty-sixth day of November, we spotlight LaDawn Gebke. Mrs. Gebke joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2016. During her first four years at GES, Mrs. Gebke worked primarily as a paraprofessional. She also helped out in the office when there was a need. During the 2019-20 school year, she assumed the school librarian duties which included coordinating the annual Scholastic Book Fair. In 2020-21, she added yet another role to her resume, kitchen assistant. Needless to say, Mrs. Gebke wears many hats at GES. We are grateful for all she does to make Germantown an awesome place to learn and work.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Gebke is a family person, avid camper, mom, Bulldog, lover of the outdoors and Christmas.

On this twenty-fifth day of November, we spotlight Felicia Goldbar. Mrs. Goldbar joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2020. She completed her student teaching in third grade in the Fall of 2020. After completing her student teaching, the district hired her to finish out the 2020-21 school year as a paraprofessional and maternity substitute teacher. This year, she has moved into the role of classroom teacher as she teaches the second section of fourth grade. As a first year teacher at GES, Mrs. Goldbar also participates in our New Teacher Mentor Program.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Goldbar is a caffeine addict, road tripping, DIY, creative, boy mom.

On this twenty-fourth day of November, we spotlight Tiffany Graham. Mrs. Graham joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2020. She came to GES with 8 years of teaching experience. While Mrs. Graham serves primarily as our 5th-7th grade math teacher, she also assists with the after school Homework Help Program. Mrs. Graham has proven to be a wonderful addition to our Math Teaching Team. We are grateful she made the move to GES.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Graham is a mom, wife, DIY-er, Amazon Prime addict, crafter, dog lover, and homebody.

On this twenty-third day of November, we spotlight Renee Graul. Mrs. Graul joined our Bulldog #FAMILY this year. While this is Mrs. Graul’s first year working at GES, last year she student taught in third grade, so she is not new to Bulldog Country. Mrs. Graul works as a paraprofessional helping out wherever needed. She assists with recess and lunch supervision, and she fills in as a substitute teacher at times as well. Mrs. Graul has recently finished schooling to become a teacher. She will use her experiences at GES to help prepare her for her first teaching job.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Graul is a mom, farmer’s wife, photographer, SXS riding fanatic, Cardinal baseball lover, and artsy person.

On this twenty-second day of November, we spotlight Lisa Rathmann. Mrs. Rathmann joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 1999. This is her 23rd year in the district. Mrs. Rathmann wears many hats at GES. In the morning, she works as a paraprofessional in the PreK classroom. Her mid-day responsibilities include supervising recess and working as the cashier for the lunch program. In the afternoon, she leads the RtI Program. At the end of the day, she helps with supervising dismissal so the students get safely where they need to go. Mrs. Rathmann’s value to our school community is priceless as she is willing to help out in any capacity needed.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Rathmann is a boy mom, Cardinals fan, flowers, garden, and lawn lover, enjoys crafts and jeep riding, and loves dogs.

On this twenty-first day of November, we spotlight Becky Hitpas. Mrs. Hitpas joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2007. She came to GES with many years of experience in the education profession. This is her 15th year in the district. When Mrs. Hitpas first made the move to Germantown, she started as a kindergarten teacher. After three years of teaching kindergarten, she made the move to PreK where she has spent the majority of her time at GES. Mrs. Hitpas has developed a Gold Circle of Quality PreK Program that follows the motto, our play is our work. In her role as the PreK teacher, Mrs. Hitpas is very involved in writing the Preschool For All Grant. This grant provides funding for the district’s morning PreK Program. Mrs. Hitpas is instrumental in building a strong foundation for learning in our early childhood students.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Hitpas is a mom, dog mom, crafter, lover of power tools, and nature lover.

On this twentieth day of November, we spotlight Angie Krebs. Ms. Krebs joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2014. She came to GES with twenty-three years of experience in the education profession as a paraprofessional and teacher. This is her 8th year in the district. While Ms. Krebs works primarily as a junior high special education paraprofessional, she assists with supervision before school, at lunch, and after school, fills in for teachers when the need arises, and brings laughter and smiles to our building with her goofy personality.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Ms. Krebs is a sports fan, aunt, dog lover, exerciser, and Days of Our Lives Soap Opera Watcher.

On this nineteenth day of November, we spotlight Margie Koopmann. Mrs. Koopmann joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 1990. She came to GES with one year of teaching experience. This is her 32nd year in the district. When Mrs. Koopmann first made the move to GES, she taught special education. After 11 years of teaching special education, she made the switch to fourth grade. She has been teaching fourth grade ever since. While Mrs. Koopmann’s main responsibility is teaching fourth grade, she also volunteers her time on the district’s FISH Committee and CARE Team. In addition, she is instrumental in helping to prepare the fourth grade students for their starring role in the annual Christmas play. Mrs. Koopmann will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2021-22 school year. We are grateful to her for her dedication to the education profession through the years.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Koopmann is a mom, book lover, beach and mountain fanatic, desserts lover, and Def Leppard fan.

On this eighteenth day of November, we spotlight Kristine Beer. Mrs. Beer joined our Bulldog #FAMILY this year. She came to GES with 11 years of teaching experience across a variety of grade levels. While Mrs. Beer serves primarily as our junior high resource teacher, she also volunteers her time on the CARE Team and is actively involved in developing strategies to help students across all grade levels experience success in the classroom.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Beer is a mom, aunt, runner, organizer, and cabin lover.

On this seventeenth day of November, we spotlight Leigh Ann Arentsen. Mrs. Arentsen joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2017 when she was hired as a bookkeeper in training. In July of 2018, she officially took over the role of district bookkeeper. This is her 5th year working at GES. While Mrs. Arentsen serves primarily as our bookkeeper, she wears many hats at GES. She helps with fielding phone calls, addressing the needs of sick children, and coordinating the Veterans Day Program among other things.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Arentsen is a mom, Mater Dei Marching Knights and Indoor Percussion supporter, St. Louis Cards fan, recipe collector, soon to be empty nester, and lover of beach life and animals.

On this sixteenth day of November, we spotlight Jordan Liszewski. Mrs. Ski joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2016. This is her sixth year teaching at GES. Mrs. Ski came to GES with 1 year of teaching experience. Her first year at GES she taught third grade. Then, she transitioned into the second grade position where she remains today. While Mrs. Ski is primarily a second grade teacher, she also works the after school Homework Help Program. Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Ski is a mom, sister, daughter, wife, athlete, animal lover, and obsessed coffee drinker. Thank you, Mrs. Ski, for being a difference maker at GES.


On this fifteenth day of November, we spotlight Kelsey Peppenhorst. Mrs. Peppenhorst joined our Bulldog #FAMILY in 2015. This is her seventh year teaching at GES. While Mrs. Peppenhorst is primarily a first grade teacher, she also volunteers her time on the CARE Team, works the after school Homework Help Program, and is helping to coordinate the 2022 Summer School Program.
Besides being an important part of our Bulldog team, Mrs. Peppenhorst is a mom of three, sports fanatic, Ski lover, and snack fan.
